“Although no-one is likely to have his or her appearance enhanced by wearing this functional and close-fitting hat/cap, it is absolutely right for windy, wet, cold weather and especially when the wearer has no hands free (e.g. when walking two dogs on leads). The visor/brim keeps rain out of the eyes, and the fabric is both windproof and waterproof as promised. It is also breathable, as per description, which is a great relief when working hard to battle through adverse weather conditions. Don't expect your hair to survive in any presentable condition afterwards, though!”

“Not hugely impressed. At this price I hoped I was buying a premium product, but the hat feels insubstantial and flimsy. Would not buy again or recommend I'm afraid.”

“Since it arrived, I’ve been out in a couple of 0C bike rides and one rainy 12C ride and I’ve been warm and dry. This isn’t extreme cold weather yet for Ontario, so time will tell. The hat fits well, the ear flaps come down nicely and it tucks comfortable under my helmet. Bodes well for colder weather with a balaclava layered with it.”
