“I bought this to replace a similar hat of a different make - this hat is just as warm if not better - the flaps stay close to the head in windy weather & although the peak is not a stiff as my previous hat it is adequate. The only thing to take note of is that the hat is slightly smaller and is in fact a very snug fit, so take care to order the right size.”

“This hat is wonderful. It is lightweight, easy to store in my pocket and keeps the wind and rain from chilling my ears and head. I wear it all the time in temps below 40F (4C).”

“I bought this to replace another Sealskinz hat that was a bit tight. I've had several of the gloves before which were all excellent - warm and waterproof and this hat is the same. Only slight downside can be the sizing - you generally need to go up a size from what you'd expect. The previous hat was XL but was a tight fit, this fits fine. It would also be nice to have some brighter colours, like red or blue.”

“Although I ordered large, the hat was far too small. Looked like a kids size hat! Same for the waterproof cap I ordered. I had to send it back which cost me €11,80.”

We are sorry your hat did not fit. We do have a reviews section under each item on the website which is honest and revealing reviews from our customers and their points of view about each product. This hat does have ""smaller than expected"" reviews which may have helped. We currently only have free returns available in the UK.
