“My partner is a beanie addict and has so many but has said this by far is the best he has ever had!! Plenty of insulation and light is bright and being waterproof will keep him dry and warm as he works outdoors”

“The item itself, for a new item at least, is on the right side of good. It's warm and comfortable and the light is useful and more than adequately pleasing for a hands-free illuminator. It would be nice to see a M/L size to fit between S/M and L/XL I have used it in the rain and snow and, as yet, it does hold up to be waterproof. You'd hope so for the price and for the reputation of this company. The issue I have - as per the title to this review - is that yet another 'Great British Company' chooses to have its products made in China. As a consumer I'd prefer to see great British companies making great British products in the U.K or, at the very least, advertising the manufacturing origins of all of its products on its website so that the consumer can make an informed choice as to whether to buy or not; much in the same way that US companies like Carhartt and Red Wing do on their websites. Purely on the basis of its manufacturing origins ( and lack of clarity on this at the point of sale) I could only ever afford this item three stars and I'm not entirely sure I'd be rushing to buy any more Sealskinz products.”

“I really like this hat. Following the size guide I think the size I bought is too big for me but that's not a major problem. The issue I have is the outside material doesn't seem to be attached to the inside lining and so rises up and has to be pulled down. Not a huge deal, just a minor inconvenience. Overall though I would definitely recommend it”
