“Runs large! Super cozy and warm, but I ordered the L/XL size for my boyfriend (I used the size chart) and it was massive lol. Also reading some other reviews that the beanie stretches wet, so I’d recommend sizing down if you’re unsure. Really thick and warm though!”

“Am female. Get cold hands, head. This hat used for all outdoor winter activities, not just kayacking. Found prevention needed. Hat is warm and waterproof. It's lined. If I keep hands and head warm, dry, better able to regulate body temps. Able to stay out longer. Wind-resistant. Easily tucked away and gentle machine wash.”

“Tremendous cold weather hat. The best. I’m in the cold a lot in winter. Beach walking the dog. Sitting in football stand watching my team in a bitter wind for two hours. If I lost it I’d buy another within minutes”

“It is very well made, but exactly the opposite of what I am looking for. I assumed the photograph of the beanie meant a watch cap (like I am wearing below), but I got this HUGE thing that is better designed for a completely different requirement for head gear. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to receiving it. If you could design and kinit an authentic watch cap (with an inner liner), small and tight fitting, I would certainly purchase one. In any event, I wish you every continued success. David P.”

Thank you for your review, Our Roll Cuff Beanies are designed to be a hat which fully covers the head and ears to help keep you warm and dry in the cold and wet weather. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to locate plans to produce a shorter version and we do apologise for any disappointment caused.

“My husband reckons this is a great hat, ideal for a very cold day. It has a little too much 'hat'on the top for his liking but that is personal fashion preference and he gets round it by pulling the hat well down at the back.”
