“When I saw this hat featured in Telegraph before Xmas I wrongly assumed it was actually some form ""Sealskin"", how else could it be waterproof. Of course it isn't and I was skeptical that a woolen hat could be waterproof. But I can say after extensive testing over the holidays in heavy rain it is! I am very pleased with it, as I so have a head and ears especially that really do feel the cold! It does a great job as also I perspire a lot through the my head and hair but this hat works far better than wool or other materials. So I love it, love the bright reddish color and logo. Only slight concern is that I ordered the XL and it was far too small, I do have a big head, so sent back for XXL and while this fits OK it is still very snug and quite a tight (ish) fit. But overall as the majority of folk do not have a head like mine I would heartily recommend!”

“I read an article in The Guardian about cycling and this hat was up there with the parting of the Red Sea but silly me when i put it on it was like wearing a carrier bag on my head only more expensive ! I dont want a refund but ill never wear that hat ! As a coincidence my daughter bought me a xmas pudding hat from Primark for a considerable fraction of the cost and im wearing it every day ,warm and over my ears ! and it dosnt rattle !”
