“I have yet to find any gloves that actually keep my fingers warm in freezing weathers but these are better than others I have tried. The gloves are well made and so far have kept my hands dry in wet weather. However, although these gloves are meant to be close fitting there is an issue with sizing. I measured my hands following the instructions on the Sealskinz website and my size came up as Medium. I usually wear large size gloves and having read other reviews I ordered Large, but they were still much too small. Fortunately Sealskinz customer service was excellent and I had no trouble exchanging the gloves for XL size, which fit perfectly..”

“These seem very good. Bought them to bird-watch as my old gloves were either not waterproof or not warm enough. They feel good and with the grips can manipulate optics well. Haven't really used smart screen with them so can not comment on how well they work on smart phones. Would recommend this product”

“Size came up too small but Sealskinz swiftly changed them with no problem. These gloves are comfortable although not wholly waterproof, and I have had issues with keeping your hands warm whilst wearing them. Also - and I've found this with ALL my Sealskinz gloves - the lining makes it near-impossible to put gloves back on if your hands are cold, wet or sweaty. I've been nearly in tears at times in cold weather when trying to put these gloves on!”

“I bought a pair of these gloves at Kendal Mountain Festival in Novemver 2015, being assured that they are waterproof. Their first test came on the day of the big drenching - 5th December. Roads were impassable so I cycled to help inundated friends. The gloves kept my hands dry for about 15 minutes! The cuffs wicked the water into the hand/fingers very quickly. The next test came this Sunday when out walking. It rained all afternoon and I put the gloves on at about 1.30, taking care to tuck the cuffs in under my waterproof jacket. By 3.00, water was seeping in between thumb and hand on both hands, then around the little finger of the right hand. BY 3.45 (when we reached our destination) both hands were fairly wet. Firstly, the 'waterproof' material does not come down the wrist far enough and, as far as I can tell, they are not waterproof. But then, I haven't yet found a truly waterproof pair of gloves (apart from marigolds).”

“I have had these since Xmas and find them a mixture of good and bad.bad . when it's dry and a cold wind they start off feeling warm but my thumbs wrap around the bars and the underside of my thumbs faces the wind - the last couple rides my thumbs are freezing. Only been caught in showers and they were fine kept ddry.”

“The rain soaks right through the cuffs, collects around the fingers and does not escape. I found a cheap pair of gloves (less than half the price) that performed much better. Really disappointed as I was expecting Sealskinz to be top notch. Their socks are superb, but I would definitely advise buying a different brand of gloves.”
