I bought these a couple of weeks ago and have had a chance to use them mostly every day as the weather has begun to get colder. I am a photographer who lives in the city and I ride my bike to work daily. For camera operation in cold environments these gloves are indispensable. Having the thumb and forefinger available for camera control allows you to wear the gloves while shooting and eliminates a lot of the sloppy mistakes that gloved hands can result in. For bike riding they are also very functional. It's often advantageous to dress in layers while biking in cold weather; it can be difficult to thermoregulate based on a lot of factors like wind chill, sun penetration, overall temp, how hard you are riding etc. Being able to expose or cover up a few fingers is an easy way to thermoregulate. I have heard complaints about the magnet on the thumb coming undone when the thumb is bent. I have not had this problem. It's possible they have fixed this ""issue"" Also, these gloves have a great fit and finnish; they look awesome. They fit small! If you would normally take a medium, you probably need a large...and a large to xl etc. Lastly, it's hard to find gloves with these features.

I bought these largely for walking and training my dogs; the fold-back thumb and finger are perfect for being able to get at treats whilst the rest of the glove keeps my hand warm and dry. I like the addition of the magnet for holding them in the ""open"" position, but I would prefer this to have an option for a press-stud, since a) my treat bag has a magnetic opening, which interferes with the magnet on the thumb and b) due to the fit of the gloves, whenever I bend my thumb, the magnet releases due to the fit of the gloves. This is a small niggle, though, and something I shall be adding myself. Otherwise, a great product; just what I was looking for.

I have worn these every time I have been beating or shooting since purchase. They are warm comfortable and waterproof. They do not interfere with my shooting. A fantastic purchase and great addition to my outdoor wear

I'm overall disappointed in these gloves from sizing to warmth, I brought them for shooting and walking to work. I downloaded and printed out the sizing chart that suggested I needed a medium, not so I should have ordered a large as the medium is so tight it made my hands ache the first few times I used them. As for the warmth factor I found them very poor when tried out on a couple of frosty/cold mornings walking to work, I still needed to put my hands in my pockets to keep them warm as it almost felt like I was not wearing any gloves, so I may as well have not even put them on and due to the sizing issue there's no way I could put a pair of their merino wool under gloves on too, I certainly wouldn't trust them to keep my hands warm out in the field. In fact they are no warmer than my macwet gloves which don't advertise any thermal properties. What a waste of £40 and as I had brought them from a popular online auction site I wasn't able to return them, so now consigned to the useless pile in the cupboard.

Bought this gloves with intention to keep warm whilst fishing. They stand up to the weather and allow me to use 4 fingers to do knots. The magnetic flaps are good and work very well. The gloves are a smug fit and keep all fingers warm in cold and damp condition (-4C), however if you require to do intricate work with all your bare fingers and you have to remove the gloves in wet condition you will struggle to put them back on as the inside lining will crumple at the end of the fingers and the wrist band will prevent you to pull it back in place. All in all good buy if you keep them on all the time.
