“I got to test these gloves the day they arrived to walk my dog in 5°C rain showers. First thing I notice, the gloves look very nice. The materials are all premium quality, the style and pre-bent fingers look good, they feel nice to pull on. There was only one loose thread end which was easy to singe off. But then the first problem arose. The thumbs are very long. I followed the sizing guide, and I have pretty average thumbs, but there is about 1cm of extra space at the end of the thumb, which makes dexterous tasks a little clumsy. ""No problem"" I thought, these are sporting gloves, and if I want to do dexterous tasks I can flip back the thumb and index finger. That's when the second problem appeared. Of the 4 pairs of magnets, only one worked as intended. Two of the pairs were stitched too far apart, so that when the fingertip was flipped back, if I bent my finger the magnets would separate and the finger tip would flap about. The last pair was stitched so incorrectly that even with my finger straight the magnets wouldn't reach eachother. I was disappointed. The waterproofing works great. Even after being in constant rain for 30 minutes my hands were still dry. The gloves dried completely in about 3 hours once I was home, so they should be fine for camping. I ended up cutting the magnets out and replacing them with no sew metal snaps. The gloves are still waterproof. Overall very nice looking and feeling gloves, the waterproofing is great, but the fact that the magnets didn't work paired with the premium pricing makes them average.”

“The waterproof Sealskinz all weather sporting gloves I have been using provide a dry warm haven for my hands in the adverse cold wet conditions recently encountered and with the added dexterity of fold back the index finger and thumb of the glove for baiting my fishing hook has improved my fishing match performance. I highly recomend the gloves during wet and cold conditions.”
