We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the performance of your Sealskinz Gloves. Our waterproof gloves are waterproof up to the cuffs. If water is able to get inside the glove from the cuff area then it will cause your hands to become wet. Could this have happened in your case? If you would like to test your gloves to see if there is a leak then we would advise that you put them on your hands, and them put them into a bowl or sink full of water so that the water level is lower than the cuff of the gloves. If you feel any water coming inside to your hands then you will know where the problem is located. The touch screen works best when the fingers are right to the end of the glove.

They felt bulky and looked a bit stiff and shapeless. Think I'll go for something more fitting and flexible.

Bought these for rafting and first use was during a record snowfall event in Arizona, Feb. 22. I love the feel of the gloves, but they did get very wet on the outside, holding moisture, and that kept my hands cold, but it was tolerable. Going to buy the merino wool glove liners to help with that.

Great to hear that you love the feel of the gloves and that they stayed waterproof. The Ultra Grip gloves are only Thermal Rating 2 for warmth (where 5 is the warmest), so they are not designed for extreme cold, you are right to put liners underneath and hopefully this will bring up the thermal rating a couple of notches for you.

I ordered medium but they are too big. I guess I should have ordered small as I am female. I have tried to return them through the Post office but they don’t show up in returns. Tried contacted Sealskinz but haven’t had a reply.

These gloves are close to perfect. They’re sleek, fit snug on my hand, provide dexterity, smartphone-friendly, and keep my hands dry from rain and snow. But they are lacking in one very important function: they don’t keep my hands warm! Or as warm as I’d like. Don’t get me wrong, they keep my hands dry in the rain and snow, which is crucial, but I still notice my fingers get very chilly in cold weather, more so than with other gloves. If you can get the next generation of these gloves to provide better insulation, you’ll have a perfect score from me!

We like the ""close to perfect"" thank you! The Ultra Grips are not meant for very cold weather, they are only rated 2 on our Thermal Rating scale (5 being the warmest). You may benefit from a pair of Merino Liner Gloves if you wish to add warmth?

Listed as ""unisex"" but the sizing is men's. Even then, the fingers are very narrow relative to the rest. Will have to return.

This is my second pair of gloves, having bought my first pair about 6 years ago on reccomendation from a colleague and they have lived up to their claim. The only problem with the first pair is that the grip surface has worn off and one of our puppy crew put a hole in one finger with his sharp puppy teeth.
