Already proved their worth on a wet cold day. And managed to use the phone too.

Bought these gloves to use on my bicycle. I have also used them at work and general outdoor activities. The build is quite bulky but otherwise very usable. The material is very comfortable and has little to no chaffing on the wrist. They are waterproof to a point but i took them to the extreme of 4 hours cycling through the pennines during a storm to which they were soaked wet through but in all honesty i never expected them to stay dry through that ordeal. Strong material and have yet to see a break after much use. Windproof gets a big tick from me! I gave them a 5 star rating... The reason being they do what they are supposed to do. Hope this review has helped with your decision. An added note would be to buy the socks - Once again they failed the pennines but everything else they have been a star buy!

Bought these a year ago. Rode all winter, in all conditions. Some rides of 4+ hours which barely got above freezing they kept my hands toasty. Only downside is they get a bit 'cheesy'. But always goes in the wash.

They are not warm at all. Will not recommend or buy again. I bought these for the Canadian fall and they were horrible in light rain, wind and temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius. The palms of my hands are warm but my fingers and finger tips were freezing. Ended up taking them off and just putting my hands in a fist and putting them in my sleeve. The weather conditions were light rain, wind and 5 degrees Celsius temperature. For the price and advertising, I expected these to perform. Very disappointed. Sad because the fit and finish is nice but they don't work.  I would like a refund.

We did two treks this August in Iceland. We were caught by storm and strong rain during first trek in Porsmork area. My husband and I had quite good gloves, but they were windproof only and did not work how he wanted - the gloves were completely wet, when we squeezed them water was going out. At one point I took my gloves off and then could not put them back. For our next trek (Westfjords area) we decided to buy better, waterproof gloves and our choice was Sealskinz. What a disappointment! The gloves were even worse than our previous ones: in my previous gloves my hands at least stayed warm, but in Sealskinz they felt wet and cold, when I squeezed them water was running out, exactly like my old gloves. So I took them off in 20 minutes, as my hands were freezing. The gloves may not let water through to the hand, but they absorb water like a sponge. Also I have to add that these gloves are much more expensive than other producer’s gloves. It is not worth it. We thought that we could use them for other activities, cross country skiing for example, but they are not warm enough. I could not understand a number of “excellent” reviews regarding these gloves on this web-site, but after reading the reviews I can see that people use them in cities for commuting or in Florida for fishing. Unfortunately, they do not work in “real” conditions.

Dear Victoria, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of our DragonEye gloves. We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with their performance and that you found they did not meet your expectations during your trek in Iceland. These gloves have a thermal rating of three so sit mid way in our product range for warmth. We would suggest wearing a glove liner inside, such as our merino liner, which would add an extra layer of warmth inside and keep your hands warmer. We hope this helps so that you can enjoy using your gloves in the future. Once again thank you, we always appreciate feedback about our products.

I brought these after them being recommended by a friend and found them to do exactly what it says on the tin. Well worth the money even though they do come up a little small.
