“I bought these mitts for use while in Antarctica. I knew that I would need an under glove which were a pair of silk Base gloves. The mittens stood up well to constant use every day getting wet and keeping out general cold. At the end of the month they showed signs of ""rinkling"" when wet but left to dry they shank back and are fine. On the last day we were out longer than normal and the weather was foggy and thus damp, the mittens became damper than normal and my hands were beginning to get cold. Over all the were great for photography and drying conditions but the damp does effect them, in extreme cold a good Base level is also needed.”

“My second pair in 3 years - I wear them every day through the winter. As a professional dog walker , fly fisher and hillwalker these mitts get a lot of use in all weather. They are simply THE BEST - and I have used and owned lots of different gloves and mitts. Not cheap , but you are buying a high quality , technical product and worth every penny”

“Very pleased with these gloves, would highly recommend them for photography and fishing that I use them for. They are indeed waterproof but the outer layer on the palm side of both mittens separated and bubbled up when I was out in the rain for a while the last couple of times. They still work fine just now but I can't be sure it won't lead to problems in the future. Very pleased on the whole though and adding liners underneath makes these really quite warm whilst keeping dexterity.”
