“I bought the gloves to replace an older pair by another manufacturer but using the same waterproof membrane. Having used them in cold, snowy, very windy conditions recently I found the gloves to be warm even when using walking poles. The downside however is that like many gloves with a ""knitted"" lining that when you remove them to resent the compass or whatever it is very difficult to get damp hand back into the gloves. I had to make a fist to warm my hands in the gloves before I could put them back on properly. Perhaps a rethink on the lining is required to make it easier to use with wet hands”

“I have to admit I was really confident these would keep my hands warm - from previous reviews, the description and the price paid for them! However, I am really disappointed. I do suffer from bad circulation and had hoped these gloves would help with the symptoms in cold weather but even walking out locally over Christmas in 6 degrees, my hands were still cold and my fingertips still turned white! Also, the size came up on the large size which means there are a couple of centimeters spare beyond my fingertips. I had bought these gloves to take to Iceland with me in February but I think I am going to have to invest in another brand as these will definately not keep my hands warm! Very disappointed!!”

“Nice gloves and cosy but slightly too big in length. Difficult to get the second one over the cuff of my jacket. Index finger still gets cold. Not adequate for the cold in the North of Scotland”

“Bought these gloves to use in the winter on my motorbike as even my winter gloves didn't stop my fingers getting cold. Have used them on several rides already and they have kept my hands warm and dry. The only exception was when I put the gloves on when my hands were already freezing cold - but that's my own fault.... icy cold hands aren't going to warm the gloves up! The only reason I haven't rated 5 stars is because the cuffs of the gloves are so soft they are difficult to adjust when you have the gloves on, but that's just a minor niggle really. Have also started using them at work as I spend a lot of time outside.”

“Just back from snowmobiling in Iceland and even with my poor circulation, my fingers stayed warm and dry.”
