“The heat generated comes on slowly, even at max setting. To feel the heat one has to clench their fist. After a while the inside becomes a gentle warm atmosphere -> enough to get my blood flowing so that I can turn it off. Very nice feeling as I'm neither hot/sweaty nor cold. Just right. The above occurred with outside temp at 5 degC. I plan to use these for resort skiing so I wonder if they will generate enough heat. I got a medium, and I thought they were a bit tight. I have other SealSkinz gloves that were sized small and they were perfect. They are a bit stiff, and compromises on dexterity (thus 4/5 stars). I'm hoping over time they stiffness will decrease.”

“These were a very generous gift and what an initial pleasure it was to slip on pre-warmed gloves! Alas, it was downhill after that. In use not much heat was retained and tips of fingers and thumbs became cold. Then one of the batteries failed. Do I want to spend £30 on new batteries? No, the money will be better spent put towards other winter gloves.”

“Having the sealskins gloves since 28th December 2019 I have used them early mornings and mid evenings and found them not keeping my fingers warm at all. The heat seems to only warm the back of my hands also they stayed wet after being exposed to rain so I have to dry them out before using again. The charging seems to differ taking hours sometimes or only a couple the next so am none to pleased with the amount they cost and not keeping both hands warm.”

“Für mich sind die Handschuhe ausreichend. Meine Hände sind zwar noch kalt, aber wenigstens nicht erfroren. Ich hätte mehr Wärmeentwicklung erwartet.”

“I have raynauds and arthritis and bought these for skiing and for looking after my horse in the winter months, they've been so helpful and I have found it much easier on cold mornings and evenings with these gloves. I would definitely recommend them.”

“Great gloves, have a pair of you old model which was purchased to keep my hands warm when cycling during the winter months as I suffer from very painful hands New gloves or even better, great service from Seal Skinz customer service couldn't have been more helpful”
