“I only recently had a chance to take them out in a decent amount of rain and the water has gone through to the outside of my shoes. I was only out for a short cycle to the shops so amn't hopeful about my long cycles to work especially now that it's getting very cold. It also took them an awful long time to dry, they were still very wet a day later after letting hang in a very warm house. In my experience anything that I've owned that is advertised as waterproof has atleast been quick drying.”

“The overshoes are good, but the fit is not great and they heels on my cycling shoe remained exposed - I could adjust them to cover the heel so my shoe took on water when I went through a puddle. Im an 11 and bought XL”

“first off the product is definately not waterproof. To call them waterproof is a marketing lie. they are water resistant. Secondly they are very delicate. Way too delicate to be worth purchasing if you dont mind that there not waterproof. In my opinion there a rip off.”

“I ordered the Sealskinz because I loved the concept of just pulling these socks over my cycling shoes when it rains on my commute. Sadly the product has two critical flaws: 1. The front cutout is too far forward for my cleat position. I use walkable “gravel” type shoes with SPD cleats and the cutout constantly slips forward over the rear nose of the cleat, so it gets caught in the mechanics when clicking in. I wish the cutout reached a bit further back to cover the normal range of cleat positions. 2. While the fabric layup is waterproof, when water splashes against the shoe from underneath it reaches the inner fleece layer of the oversock and that wicks it up the side of the shoe, so my feet get wet within half an hour even in light rain. The inside of the oversock should really be non-wicking of have some sort of wicking barrier around the cleat cutout.”

“Needed for daily commute in the rain. Keeps me warm and dry. I used over cycling shoes with clips. Built in holes fit great.”
