“I've enjoyed the waterproof feature of these socks, as well as the warmth that they provide, however the seam on the inside has already begun to unravel. I don't know how it happened. I have only washed them by hand, so they've not snagged on anything. I could probably mend them, but a little afraid to puncture the waterproof part.”

Thank you for your review on the Trekking Thick Mid Socks. We are very sorry to hear that the seam on the inside of the sock has come undone. We do not advise you to attempt a repair as this could compromise the waterproof membrane inside. “I bought these for my son for rowing and they were great. When he rowed in the snow a few weeks ago his feet were the only part of him that stayed warm and dry. He has also used them as walking socks and again they got a big thumbs up.”

“I wore these on a slushy, muddy, freezing weekend in the Peak District covering 80km in the hills and bogs over 2 days. Feet were warm and blister free throughout. Brilliant.”

“I've been using this to trek the southern part of patagonia in Spring and they have been worth every penny. Walking through snow, mud, streams, puddles hasn't been a problem and my feet have stayed warm the whole time. I was worried about the fit but they are snug and I've had no blisters because of them. They were one of the only things in my kit I wasn't sure about but I'm really glad I got them now.”
