“I purchased these socks to use under a wetsuit that I use to sail my dinghy. Having owned the previous generation of Sealskinz socks, I was skeptical about purchasing another pair. The construction of the first generation seriously limited their lifespan. These socks are completely different. The construction is an order of magnitude better and I have confidence that I will get a season of heavy use from this design. They are also comfortable and do their job. So, much improved.”

“I brought them a month ago and have used them every time I go out on the water for rowing, still a bit worried about the washing process as don't want to ruin their effectiveness but other then that great product”

Thank you for your positive review for our Trekking Mid Thick Socks. We're very glad that that you are enjoying them! To reassure you about the washing process, these socks can safely be washed at 40 degrees Celsius and drip dried (not on a radiator) but please do not dry clean, iron, or bleach the socks. “I bought several pairs as Christmas Gifts for 5 different family members. My wife who drives a school bus says they are the warmest socks she's ever had. She is very glad to have them when doing her circle checks on mornings in the minus 20s & 30's C temperatures (that's without the windchill factored in). I haven't heard back from other family members about them.”

“Great for dry feet walking in approach shoes. Cannot wear boots due to Achilles Issue. But stitching undone after 2 outings and washes. Awaiting replacement.”
