As a everyday courier, these socks are amazing, they keep you dry and warm. Good job, Selaskinz!

Bought these socks having cold wet feet everyday. Since they have arrived I have worn them every day (bought 2 pairs) and have not had cold or wet feet once, even riding in the minus temps in the dark. Brilliant socks

My wife and I bought a pair each for our first adventure race, which we had anticipated to occur in near-freezing temps, possibly including ice-cold puddles. This option is substantially cheaper than buying waterproof trail running shoes plus ankle gaiters. After trying them on with loosely-tied running shoes (the socks are necessarily bulkier than regular socks), I was satisfied of their quality after testing them out by (1) wearing them for an hour to see if I got excessively sweaty, and (2) running tap water over them to test their waterproof-ness. My wife, on the other hand, immediately did not like the relatively bulky fit of SealSkinz, so she decided to instead use thick Smart wool socks in her running shoes. Anyhow, the weather ended up getting colder than we anticipated, and the conditions for our race included 15 degF temp and 8"" of fresh snow. We were out for 2.5 hrs and covered 8 miles. I was very happy with how my socks performed - they were comfortable and kept my feet toasty warm. My wife had reported that her approach of wool socks worked for her also. ... Now the negative: A major reason that we bought these socks from Sealskinz online sight unseen was the 30 day money back guarantee. Well, my wife promptly tried to contact SealSkinz (twice!) via the website's customer service web form to arrange to get a return form to send back her socks, which are unused, still have the tags on them, and are in the original packaging. SealSkinz never replied, and we are now beyond the 30 day limit for returns. So, buyer beware: this company seemingly lacks functional customer service to help with product returns.

We can confirm we sent the returns information on 12th January. We have had a very serious virus with our US website which ""lost"" many emails and we were unaware of this which resulted in problems with communications. Please check the SPAM box for the returns information, and contact us on ukcustomerservices@sealskinz.com so we can deal with your return and honour it even though the 30 days has passed. I have made a note on your file so this advice is recorded.

I bought these socks and have tried them in my bath to first check the waterproofing and was amazed at how waterproof they while still maintaining elasticity like a normal pair of socks. However, these socks are so thick that I don't fit anymore in my hiking shoes, which is the reason why I bought these in the first place. Regardless I'm still willing to give it another shot and get the ultra thin waterproof ones. One more thing, I went with the recommended L size (9-11) but being in between sizes (I'm an 8,5) I feel there was a lot of excess sock in the shoe and therefore not very comfortable. I stuck with the recommendation to go a size up and I feel that if I go for a size M it would be too tight.

I really thought these socks wwwould work as being diabetic I really suffer with my feet, being a match angler I find myself sitting on my box for 5 hours at a time and I was very disappointed that my feet were freezing after 3 hours even wearing a pair of quality boots with them, £42 was a big and wasted investment for me after reading all the great reviews

These socks are Thermal Rating 4 (out of 5 with 5 being the warmest), so we are disappointed to hear that you did not feel they performed as expected and we are sorry for that. We know people have different levels of tolerance to cold so some will feel cold more readily than others. A liner sock may be of benefit if you are sensitive to the cold. If the socks fit tightly this also affects the efficiency of the thermal ability.

I really like them. I pair them with a Sand Sock over it and a yak track extremes on over. They keep my feet dry and warm for long runs and allow a minimalist feel. I would prefer it if you offered a split toe option so that I can wear them with my running sandals, that would be great! Now...if it would only snow!

Sorry for the delay in your return. We are always super busy from September to March and unfortunately our small team were hit with flu and other nasty viruses which depleted our efficiency. We see the return has now been processed.

These do the job of keeping moisture out of my socks and away from my foot, but they feel a bit clammy and Uncomfortable on their own. Works best when I put a regular sock on and then use these as a cover to protect my cotton sock. Much more comfortable.
