“My first Sealskinz purchase was a pair of these socks, that was around 2019. They are amazing. I wear them in all weather, hot or cold, inside my MX boots. The material provides a nice buffer between the hard shell of the boots and my feet. I never receive blisters. Thats obviously a side benefit, the true benefit is that for cold riding -18C right up to any warmer temperature, the socks are in my opinion the most versatile baselayer for your feet. In extreme cold I am typically fine, my feet will 'feel' the cold at speeds of 120kph inside my knee high motorcycle boots but I will be comfortable for an entire days riding. I would expect this applies to snowmobiling as well. My feet never sweat, the socks will also stay fresh for a few days if you let them entirely dehumidify or dry out overnight. I will take two pair on long adv rides as it's normal to do a water crossing or few during the day, my feet remain dry but the entirety of the boot and socks exterior will be soaked. I will wash them in a sink and hang them to dry overnight or by a fire or simply lay them out in the sun at base camp while I am out riding in my backup pair. I have been meaning to try it but just haven't yet, I am pretty sure if you walked into an icy pool of water wearing only the socks I would be confident my feet would remain dry and warm. I have since purchased the extreme cold full head gaitor and the extreme cold fusion gloves, both of which work as promised.”

“Used these as motorcycle socks for my recent Iceland offroad motorcycle adventure where I rode across approximately 60-80 river crossings. Whilst water did get into my motorcycle boots, my feet stayed dry, brilliant.”

“I was in the BWCA for four days with these socks and they performed very well. I was comfortable getting my boots wet on portages and they kept my feet warm. I liked that they are easy to slip on and off and would highly recommend them for people who are looking for “wet-boot” canoe socks.”
