Just received and tried them on and they are like butter on my feet! Fit perfect, so comfortable, perfect height, a bit over the top of my boots. Great padding in my boots but not so thick my boots don't fit comfortably. Really high quality. Should have ordered these years ago. Headed for a 15-day Himalayan tour with lots of water crossings and not a lot of chances to dry out socks. These are going to be so perfect. 5 star rating

I bought a pair of these socks for my recent kayak trip in Algonquin park in October. I could wade into the water with these socks on along with my sandals without getting cold or wet feet. http://modustollens.org/bb/opeongo.oct.2022.html They worked so well my friend also bought a pair.

Mother told me to prepare. I did. These warm socks are for winter cold. Hot now, but not for long. These will fit under paddle boots and keep me warm

I hiked 610km on an Arctic island wearing these. I wore one or two pairs of merino wool thermal socks underneath depending on temperatures, and trail runners. The system worked perfectly for the mix of wet/swampy tundra, fast broad rivers, and ice/deep snow that I encountered. A few times water was thigh deep long enough that the socks flooded, but like having a wetsuit they keep your feet warm if you just continue hiking and then dry them out overnight.

Finally my feet stayed dry! Getting in and out of my kayak in the shorter socks didn’t work because of the cuff getting wet, but the knee high ones solve the problem. The cuff can still get wet, but the chance of stepping into water over the top is much lower.
