I like these socks overall although I didn’t really get to test them in the coldest part of our winter this year. Combined with winter shoes and shoe covers they do seem helpful and it’s nice that they cover your shins as well. The only real drawback is that if you wash them they take 2-3 days to really line dry out and I felt sticking them in the dryer might not be best for their longevity.

I bought my hiking mid knee socks before Christmas and didn't get a chance to wear them until last weekend (just before the 'beast from the east' snowstorm hit). I've always had a problem keeping my feet warm in the winter and have to deal with Raynaud's Syndrome and chilblains usually. Oh but my feet were toasty and stayed dry! Thank you!!

Got the socks right after christmas and I've tested them for running, hiking and road cycling. Legs are dry and warm, no problems after 2 hour hike at -9 degrees C. Also very good for cycling, due to windproof ability.

These socks are amazing A little pricey but once you’ve worn them and see the results the cost becomes nothing but a distant memory My feet have never been so warm even better they don’t get wet

First trip in my knee high socks was beyond expectations. Hiked 20 miles in running shoes with the knee highs only in wet grass, stream crossings, knife ridges and rock scrambles. The socks kept my feet dry all day and were comfy and warm as well. Day two was spent using the socks as wading shoes in and out of rivers fishing and again the socks out preformed my expectations. They keep all water out and somehow allow your feet to breath as a normal sock would. Third day more of the same, in and out of rivers, walking in the ocean tide, stomping in and out of mud holes, lots of miles and dry feet at the end of the day. These things are the best socks I have purchased hands down.
