I bought these over a month ago now, and I am so glad I finally just paid for quality because that is exactly what I got. Perfectly waterproof, warm but not sweaty and really comfortable.

Army dude here. If you are going out in the field these are a must have. Avoid trench foot, get these. If you are going to be bush bashing for days on end in wet marsh and won't have time to change your socks these bad boys will save you. Yes it is expensive for a pair of socks and I still got these as my 2nd pair.

I bought these specifically to take on the notoriously boggy Cape Wrath Trail in March. As promised, they (when combined with walking boots) kept my feet completely dry. For that, and the smugness I had watching my companions fruitless attempts to keep their feet dry, well worth it! They do take a long time to dry, bit it's a price worth paying.

On recommendations from both cycle shop staff and a friend who worked as a bicycle courier, I bought these for keeping my feet warm and dry when cycling during the colder months of the year. My first trip in them was a couple of twenty-five mile countryside journeys in late December where over the course of two days, I experienced the sock's performance in varied weather environments. Of course, it is because they are indeed waterproof that they are ideal for keeping feet warm, but even when the winter weather is dry, they do have thermal properties. On the second day of my trip, rain inevitably got into my shoes, but as advertised, my feet stayed nice and dry. I've never rode so comfortably in the rain! I'm not a cyclist entirely interested in being aerodynamic on the road, so I'm very happy with the knee-high Sealskinz as I am able to tuck my waterproof trousers into them, keeping baggy fabric away from the drive train. To extend the lifespan of the product, I also make sure to wear ordinary sports socks underneath, mitigating the wear and tear within. I'm approximately a size eleven, so I decided to buy the extra large size for a comfortable fit that would also accommodate extra pairs of socks worn underneath for extra comfort. I made a good decision there too. I will enjoy this product, knowing that when cold and wet weather strikes, I can stay warm, dry and comfortable while cycling on the roads!

I used my water proof socks for the first time yesterday. AND MY FEET STAYED DRY. I row and have to walk into the water to launch my boat and in a Melbourne winter wet feet are not fun. My feet were cold but not wet. WINNER!!!!!!

I bought these to wear with on a rafting trip on the Marsh Fork of the Canning River in the ANWR. I was in and out of the raft and walking through the wet watery tundra in my hiking boots and my feet stayed dry and warm. Only complaint is they are not knee high as advertised only mid-calf high.

I bought these socks to keep my feet warm when rowing in cold weather. We have to wade in the water when we launch and retrieve the boat and my feet always get cold. Several rowers already use these socks and recommended them. I am very pleased with them and now have much warmer feet when i row!

I bought these socks a while ago to wear under my motocross boots which are not water proof. I wear motocross boots for Adventure Motorcycling which involves creek and river crossing, and riding in difficult terrain. Wet feet means cold feet and the wind chill whilst riding a motorbike can cause serious discomfort. These socks are quite thick and have a cushioning effect inside heavy duty motocross boots making them comfortable as well as warm and dry. Now I've got them I don't ride without them.
