I went on 4-day backpacking trip on Vancouver Island Canada. I wore them in combo with Gaiters and trail shoes. The trail was wet and muddy. I crossed streams, and some small high tide. My feet stayed damp for most of the hike, but not wet. I got no blisters, and my feet did not smell bad.

I ordered the size that was supposed to fit size 12 to 14. I wear size 10.5 shoes and boots. The socks are very tight on my toes
