“I have shoe size EUR 43, running shoes EUR 45 1/3. So I ordered Size Large (EUR 43-46). The problem is that size Large is about 2cm to short from toes to heel, but to large around the foot. The result is a combination of pain at the toes and pleats around the middle of the foot. The quality looks good. Sent them back, don't know if they are real waterproof.”

“Wore my new Sealskinz socks for the first time this morning in a wet, blustery 5 degree celcius day. Did an 86 km loop. My feet were comfy and protected from the wind the whole ride. And when I peeled them off at the end...they were dry. Great product! -KP”

Thank you for your review for the MTB Thin Mid socks with Hydrostop. SealSkinz Hydrostop technology creates a seal between the sock cuff and skin, helping to reduce the amount of water from running down the leg and into the sock. Due to this close bond between sock cuff and skin, we recommend that Hydrostop socks are only used outdoors and not for a prolonged period of time. Incorrect or prolonged use can result in excessive rubbing against the skin and may in a very small minority of cases cause minor skin irritation.

“These are perfect for hiking on winter and spring trails because I can wear a lighter hiking shoe and not worry about my feet being wet and cold. I am looking forward to wearing these canoe tripping on muddy portages and in my boots when fly fishing. I can also fit a light wool hiking sock inside for extra warmth. I'm really enjoying these.”
