Initially they feel a bit odd to handle - more like neoprene booties than socks and a bit stiff, but they were immediately comfortable and snug when you put them on. I thought they might become hot and sweaty but that was not the case at all. I wore them to dod walk in the morning, keep them on all day, and went for a run in them in the evening. They remained very comfortable throughout and provided a little extra comfort underfoot. I would feel comfortable using them on long trips with non-waterproof walking trainers rather than having to wear Goretex boots.

I have noticed water getting into the sock- only used it twice - hand washed it and left on flat surface to dry - plastic bit on the ankle is coming off

Fed up with wet feet despite wearing expensive waterproof walking boots that have been regularly cared for. These socks recommended by a friend have been the answer to dry feet. I wear an extra pair of thin socks to line them so I don’t have to wash the ‘Sealskinz’ daily. ‘Medium’ is recommended for size 6 feet and my heel overshoots a little; I could probably have a neater fit with ‘small’ but better a little big I guess than too small. This hasn’t reduced my delight in comfort. Time will tell if they’re worth the price.

I put the sealskinz on my left foot and the LIdl crane on my right, after my run through wet grass the sealskinz was damp and foot clammy, the Lidl perfomed much better and was much drier and a third of the price

On the whole they do exactly what I wanted them to do. Fully waterproof and no need to keep replacing boots at usually three times the price. Bonus. My only slight complaint is even though these are ankle socks, they're quite a bit lower than a normal pair of ankle socks. They do take a little getting used to due to the three layer system but overall do exactly what they advertise!
