I generally use these for my religious obligations. Without getting into too much detail I need a pair of waterproof socks that I can wear everyday and feel like normal socks so i can perform abulution easier before i perfom my prayers. I have tried lots of other brands and even other sealskinz socks but these are by far the best and most comfortable in all weather conditions. Thanks to sealskinz it has made practising an aspect of my faith easier for me.

I bought the soft touch ankle length socks for my girlfriend and was quite excited both being a bit of a thinner and shorter sock which was her preference. Though the seam of the inside layer of the sock runs along the bottom of the sock rather than the top of the sock as done in the mid mid hiker. This caused an uncomfortable seam along the bottom as well as bunching underfoot in the toe box of the sock. This may only be for her foot size and shape, though I could see it being an issue for others as well. I am still pleased with the quality of sealskins - though I found this particular model not to be a good fit for us. I bought a pair of sealskinz socks and have used them as I love to run in the winter - and they have been a good fit for me (I bought the mid mid hiking sock) as they cut the wind while running outdoors in winter/fall/spring - as we have a fair amount of snow/cold throughout these seasons. I originally bought the mid mid hiking socks for a canoe trip this past summer because I have a real challenge keeping my feet warm when I'm on the water. They worked really well for this. I wore them with a pair of runners and was the most comfortable I have been on a trip in some time. Kept the feet dry while the water was below sock level, and then once it went over the top of the sock some moisture got in - which was fully expected, yet my foot was able to stay warm.

Was sceptical as to whether or not these would work but alas they do! Comfortable, nice colours, and personally i was hoping for a thin feeling sock which they are! Really should have seen these sooner - will be a definite return customer

I've been buying Sealskinz waterproof socks since they first came on the market many years ago and I like how they continue to improve. The current versions are soft and very confortable, and fit inside my running shoes with only a slight loosening of the laces required. Great for long runs when I know my feet would be cold and wet using normal socks. The Sealksinz website is excellent and the items arrived the next day.

I bought these about a month ago but only got to wear them last weekend while running Ullswater. There had been heavy rain and floods so basically couldn't avoid deep puddles and running water coming down off the hills. The socks were amazing, my trainers were squelching and full of water but my feet were bone dry. Definitely worth every penny and I have recommended them to lots of running friends.
