“Really good quality and well made pair of waterproof socks, bought for my husband who gets soaked when winter gravel bike riding. Unfortunately hubby has really slim ankles/lower leg so socks are quite baggy which will allow puddle water down the top... Otherwise delivered promptly and were nicely packaged.”

“The sizing is not accurate, its too big for me and I wore it to try so I can’t send it back, the hydrostop band on the ankle length is loos and doesn’t fit well being that ankles are smaller then calfs, the mid high socks fit better do to the thicker area of your calf, but the sock is still very loose, I wear size 10 shoes and ordered size L I probably should have gotta medium, I have tryed a competition brand from Amazon and it fit right one. I also didn’t realize that these socks come straight from England, I have to say shipping was quicker then expected to Hawaii but I don’t know how one would return an item, the cost to ship out of Hawaii is crazy, that is why Amazon is so popular here.”

“I have used Sealskinz socks for many years, wearing them under fishing waders. They have always been excellent and have prevented the inevitable condensation from wading activity.”

“Did not come close to sealing at the ankles. Water could just pour in. Sent back. Already have the calf length and they seal great.”

“After a 22.2 mile run round the Cornish coast I found that the socks are Nice and comfortable but once you get water in the shoe the sock just holds on to that water and you need to take to sock off a ring out the socks. The Hydrostop don't work as water still get passed this when running through puddles. A lot of money”

Hi Ricky, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent purchase. We are sorry to hear that your socks did not perform to expectations. Our socks are waterproof up to the top, just like a wellington boot. The longer the socks, the more waterproof protection they will provide up the leg. Hydrostop will help to prevent water run down but cannot prevent all ingress if the sock is submerged or the sock is not close fitting to the leg. “Product returned .. found it to be of poor design… water leaked into the sock immediately…ankle hydrostop way too large for average ankle.”
