This 3-Star cylinder is competitively priced and comprehensively tested to ensure your home has high security and complies with British Standards.

This Door Cylinder is compliant with Building Regulations Approved Document Q – Security – Dwellings and it has been awarded Secured by Design (SBD) status, having gained national Police approval for providing a realistic level of resistance to criminal attack.
The Vanguard 3-Star Door Cylinder has a high security 6 pin cylinder mechanism and comes with 5 keys as standard. It has been designed to withstand 5 types of attack: Anti-drill, Anti-pick, Anti-bump, Anti-snap, Anti-screw, and plug retraction. Featuring a thumbturn locking mechanism, this cylinder can be easily locked and unlocked from the interior side without the need for a key; this is especially beneficial in emergencies where finding a key could result in serious injury or pose a risk to life (e.g. a fire).
The anti-manipulation security features include a sacrificial break slot designed to snap off when forced, making it more difficult to gain a grip of the cylinder under attack.
