I have laminate flooring in my kitchen and needed something to help protect the floor immediately nearest to the sink, as splashes of water etc from washing up can cause this type of flooring to bubble/warp - the mat also has a synthetic rubber-style backing to it, which helps to keep it in place and to stop water seeping through it.
The colour is really nice and goes well with my other white and green sink accessories. It feels quite soft to walk on and helps to brighten up my kitchen as a whole. Overall, I am pretty happy with what I paid and what I have received.”
