“Ordered a oak mantle and decided to buy the fixing bracket and the same time. This was perfect and made installing the mantle so much easier. It’s very strong and sturdy.
The fixing bracket is perfect as once installed the mantle has pre drilled hole that align with the fixing bracket supports and slides over the top so the fixing bracket is not visible.
Only thing was not sure of was what size drill bit required to drill holes to install fixing bracket. We used a 12mm masonry drill bit.”
