“Great product but the box is unsupported. When I am opening the box to put the watch in, the lid of the box always suddenly falls back onto my hand. You can also improve the watch winder can be battery power instead of having to be plugged in, it would be more convenient. Otherwise this is a great product.”
“The winder is beautifully made and finished. Exceptionally well packed to protect it in transit. Simple to use, once I had worked out that there is an On/Off switch on the back (not mentioned in the instructions).
One comment about the instructions: they say "wind your watch fully before placing it in the winder". This is not a good idea, since it will keep the watch fully wound. This means that the tail end of the main spring will be continually slipping against the inside of the spring barrel, accelerating wear. Better to take the watch off your wrist in the evening (fully wound) and put it on the winder next day, so there is some 'slack' in the main spring.”
