“Review based on the maple syrup flavour I love maple syrup and can't get enough so thought this was a no brained. Only problem is it doesn't taste like maple syrup. Maybe if you described maple syrup to a syrup producing robot that has no taste buds. Its got a fake maple flavour that is overly sweet and chemically at the same time. Its OK in tiny doses (squirt a small bit on your plate and then dip pancakes into it very quickly) but if you cover your pancakes in it you are going to have a bad time. Maybe all the reviews telling me you can't taste a difference had set my hopes too high. Overall would not buy again. Maybe a good sugarfree maple syrup doesn't exist. Otherwise service from protein pick and mix was great, would use them again. Just not to buy this.”

“I don't think that any of the syrups are sweet enough. I felt the need to add sweetener to all syrups. White chocolate & peanut butter - lovely consistency but I could hardly taste the flavours at all. Banoffee - the banana taste was present but rather weak. Custard - very custard-like consistency but the taste could be stronger. Candy floss - lovely candy floss-like taste but too weak. Red velvet - nice sweet taste but with a bit of a chemical aftertaste. I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be red velvet without reading the label. Marshmallow - lovely marshmallow-like taste but too weak. Golden syrup - one of my favourites. Kind of did taste like golden syrup. Maple syrup - probably one of my second favourites. It tastes like maple syrup. Butterscotch - nice sweet taste but not very butterscotch-like & not good enough to make me want to buy it again. Maple syrup & cinnamon - the fake cinnamon/chemical taste ruins this one. Unicorn - it looks like bubble bath & has too much of a raspberry taste for my liking. Good if you like raspberry though. Mince pie & Christmas pudding - tastes too much like out of date wine. Salted caramel - another of my favourites. Very nice. Chocolate & chocolate fudge cake - these fall into my second favourites category. The fudge cake flavour is a little more like dark chocolate whereas the just chocolate flavour is a bit sweeter. Birthday cake - the strawberry flavour was rather mild but it was still a nice syrup. Cherry Bakewell - the overpowering fake almond taste ruined this for me. I couldn't taste the cherry element. Sticky toffee - this also had a fake spices/chemical taste. Not very nice. Billionaire shortbread - the chocolate & caramel tastes were too weak so it didn't really taste of anything particular. I won't bother buying it again.”

“Lovely and thick, great flavours. Compared to the other sugar free syrups on the market, Skinny Food Co are the best by far. There's no chemical after taste, plus they're not runny and watery like other brands. Salted Caramel and Golden Syrup taste like the real thing.”
