“Easy to fit with new sticky strip rather than sliding over the post. Used these on a few posts in the past, will have to wait for 20 years to see if they last”
“Great idea. First time I have used them so I need to wait 20 years and see if they are as good as they say. The idea is sound and should work. Unfortunately, this was my first time using these and I have slotted posts, so it didn't fit as well as I would have liked.
The principle is good and the sleeve shrunk and bitumen appeared on some edges, I was using a hot air gun, so it would probably be better on square/rectangular posts (or with a bit more practice, but it is not a job I intend to do very often!).”
“I've always brought my posts already fitted with post savers, but because you have to give them time to fit them, you can't them the same day I'm now fitting most of them my self and I think there brilliant, I just need to get better on butting them on”
