“Our Church has a gateway between two graveyards. The gateway consists of two ten inch oak posts supporting a wrought iron arch with steel gates hanging from the posts. The oak posts we think, were over one hundred years old. We have replaced the oak posts and to try and make the posts last hopefully at least another one hundred years I used your Postsaver Pro-Wrap. Look out for a further review in one hundred years with an up-date.”
“The smaller the post saver the less bitumen the sleeve seems to have and it's harder to get the heat-shrink without burning. That said this is a good product which will save 10-50X it's cost over time I'm sure”
“Jury is out. The product is well made but the guarantee relies on achieving a good seal and the outside wrapping not being punctured in any way. Even with great care I still had one burst 'blister' as I sealed the unit around the post. The other problem is getting the soil and stones back around the wrapping without puncturing it. Given the depth of the wrapping, this must be almost impossible without some further protection. I am going to try one further post.”
