Chloramphenicol Eye Ointment is a treatment for both adults and children for acute bacterial conjunctivitis (ABC). It belongs to the antibiotic family of medicines. ABC is characterised by a redness and inflammation of the eye with the possible presence of a golden crust. The eye ointment should be used regularly for 7 days for the infection to clear.

“This is value for money and saved me trying to get a GP appointment for an infected stye on my lower lid. I would not normally self medicate with antibiotic type cream, but I had spoken with the pharmacist locally who recommended the cream, but had none in stock. The item arrived quickly, is exactly what I expected and has worked well. Reading the patient information leaflet is very important to ensure it is stored correctly and unused cream is disposed of properly. Happy with my purchased, no problem recommending it.”
