Betnovate scalp application is used for the treatment of eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis of the scalp. It contains the active ingredient betamethasone valerate, which is a form of corticosteroid medication. It works by reducing inflammation on the scalp and thus reducing the symptoms of eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. It helps to alleviate the itching sensation which can provoke symptoms further.
