“The most effective medicine available for a persistant dry cough. It is just a shame that it's so difficult to obtain. You're assumed to be an addict when you try to buy it, and are treated like one. I used it for a persistant dry cough that I had following a chest infection (the infection was resolved by antibiotics but it left a lingering dry cough that prevented me from sleeping for 3 weeks, as a NHS nurse. No medicine other than this was effective. Only used a small dose once per night for 5 days. At this usage it is not going to get anyone addicted, yet the nanny state make it as difficult as possible to obtain this medicine, assuming everyone is stupid enough to drink the whole bottle.”
