Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

This seems to be a well made pack however the design makes it uncomfortable. Maybe due to the small length of the sack? larger ones may not suffer from the same problem? But the shoulder straps cut into you under your arms, if the padded section of the shoulder straps were longer and the adjustable buckle lower down the strap it might be more comfortable? and as the straps are short the chest strap is very high on your chest and feels like it is on your neck, again not comfortable. The shoulder straps also have no separation between them at the top to make room for your neck, which most good quality backpacks have, which is a shame as the design for the dog seems to have been well designed, but they have not thought about how comfortable it will be for the person carrying the pack. I have just exchanged this sack for the Knavigate, which has a longer body and waist belt which answers some of the problems mentioned above, but it is a lot more expensive.
