“We wanted to take our 110 year old equivalent dog on our Scotland hiking holiday and thought we’d give this a try. She made it up and down Ben Nevis in her carrier and she made lots of use of it on our subsequent mountain hikes afterwards too. This included a few scramble tracks. She was even asking to go in it at times. Brilliant product that allowed the whole family, dog included, to holiday together.”

“Used once and was uncomfortable, and according to those with me looked like she was falling out half the time. It did not hold her un the position it shows on the videos or clips. So disappointed.”

This product is very secure by design, and comes with a variety of features to ensure comfort and safety. These features include a collar enclosure, which prevents any leaning, and cinch straps to keep your dog close to you and prevent them leaning. Provided these are used correctly, and the size is correct, your dog should be held in position as expected. We understand it can be tricky finding the best size with these products, especially remotely, and so we do offer free exchanges on our range of K9 Sport Sacks. We also offer a cooling off period for you to try-on indoors and assess your dog's comfort and the suitability of the carrier for them. The condition you received your Sport Sack is not something that we have seen before and for that, we apologise. What I would recommend you do, is contact our customer service team who will be more than happy to help and will also look into this as a warranty claim. You can reach our customer service team via telephone which is on the website, or via our chat line that we have recently added to our website. “Great quality but the sternum strap did break on first use- possibly due to my dog being so top heavy. I have a size L for my 12.5 kg rescue Frenchie as she can’t walk long distances after spinal surgery. I use a folded blanket to lift her up and keep her comfortable in this size bag. The extra rucksack stores a lot- my iPad Air, water bottle and lunch with room for more.”
