Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“Fantastic for long days out ! Can use cross the body or round the waist whe you need your hands free. Round furniture in pubs and cafés. Adjust the length, shorter in busy places, longer on big paths ...so useful. Don't worry too much about the reviews saying the popper opens, this is for a padded cushion that you can use to grip, it isn't required and doesn't affect safety Also the bottle opener is handy”

“Would love this lead if it didn’t come unhooked twice within the first week of using it. Have a dog with very high prey drive and was a scary experience. Have had a fashion a fail safe with a carabiner. Would not recommend if you love your dog and want to keep them.”

Let me reassure you that all of our leads are from reputable brands that we trust. This is something that we haven't seen occur before however, we do understand that these things can happen. We are sorry to hear that this has happened to you and hope that you and your dog are okay. For dog's with high prey drive, the leash that you purchased may not be strong enough to withstand the reactions of your doggo. Alternatively, we have leashes in stock that are likely better suited for you and your dog. In recommendation, our Ruffwear Knot-A-Long leash is a rope leash. The leash is short (30inches, 0.76m) reducing the distance between you and your doggo. The rope itself is woven with Kermantle material which is commonly seen within climbing ropes. This offers strength and durability whilst keeping the leash flexible. The leash has a securing carabiner clip, adding safety to your doggo. A similar leash to this is the Knot-A-Leash. The Knot-A-Leash offers the same features as the Knot-A-Long, however provides a greater distance between the doggo and yourself. This leash at full length is 1.5m. Both of these leashes are from our Ruffwear brand, a very trusted retailer. These leashes are recommended for people with either large dogs or dogs who tend to pull when out on their adventures. “So far we have found this lead really useful with our springer. We tend to get out to see the sunrise so the reflective strips are very useful and being able to wear cross body so hands are free is helpful, especially when with the kids too. When holding the lead in the traditional sense it is comfortable. Being able to easily adjust is great.”
