“Our Jack Russell gets cold easily, and we have tried other parkas but they either don't fit or don't provide enough warmth. The Hurtta Parka not only fits well, but for the first time our dog wasn't shivering on top of the mountain, he stayed warm and cosy, his belly and chest stayed dry, and we didn't feel like we needed to rush our trip. Very impressed, and have gotten another for our other dog as well. Would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely thrilled with this coat. My dog is a mix breed terrier with broad shoulders and a long back. We have really struggled to find a coat that fits him well because his body shape is not standard. The range on sizing options for this coat were fantastically inclusive, it's lovely and warm and the quality is great. I haven't tried it in torrential rain yet because we mainly use it before and after agility sessions. The beetroot colour is more pink than expected but that's not an issue for me. My only wish would be that the leg straps were adjustable in length but altogether a top standard coat, worth the money and highly recommend!”

“Truly excellent quality coat. Dog took a little bit to adjust walking in it as she seemed confused by the elasticated straps for the back legs, but once adjusted was absolutely fine. And as hoped it keeps her nice and warm! True to size.”

“Brilliant build quality and sizing for all dogs shapes and sizes. I have two Boston Terriers and it is incredibly difficult to find coats that are practical, comfortable and fit correctly due their their specific build sizes. Bowie ( who fitted 35cm) is a very athletic build and is narrower than Flynn, who is a stockier more bully build (who fitted 35xl). Both dogs are very active and these coats work perfectly. We hiked Helvellyn in 2 foot of snow and they were kept warm without getting in the way of their play or without overheating. They also received multiple compliments on how nice their coats looked!”

“This jacket is brilliantly simple to put on my mini schnauzer. I just pop his head through the neck hole, then tighten the two quick-adjust cords at the top and bottom of the neck. These are really smartly designed - it takes two seconds to get a snug and windproof fit. Then I pull the chest piece into place and click the strap closed; our dog practically steps into the two retaining straps that fit over his back legs. Then you just forget about it - our dog tears about as usual, just much more cosily. It’s just as easy to take off - and feels beautifully warm on the inside, even after a walk in minus 11 degrees centigrade conditions last night. We’ve only had snow - not rain - since we got the parka, but the waterproof layer looks to be excellent, as does the coverage. Well worth the investment for cold, wet walks.”
