Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“It's a great bright light, was hesitant because of the price. Many advantages though: usb rechargeable, different light settings and colours, and easy to attach as well as nice and secure on my pup's ruffwear harness.”

“It is a shame that the beacon is hard to turn on and off and very hard to change colour etc. When you can switch it on and stop it flashing and set the colour you want it works very well. Just be warned its very fiddly”

Sorry to hear you didn't get on with the Beacon Margaret. The secret to the beacon is that to turn you depress the rubber button 2-3 seconds and then it will light up (this stops it being turned on by accident), thereafter just a quick press will roll through the different colours and flashing modes. We are happy to help if your difficulty continues - we'd strongly advise persisting with the product as it's one of the best out there and a few of our team members wouldn't be without theirs.

“Ruffwear beacon dog light is the usual high quality product from the number one Califonia hipster dog gear brand. It is easy to use, has a choice of anchor points for collar or harness and has three colour modes and static or flashing settings. Being picky, it is kinda bright so if you have it on top of the dog collar it blinds you a bit on unlit roads/trails. I guess the answer is to fit it underneath or at the front of the collar/harness so it's not visible to the walker on the other end of the dog lead. It's quite small too, which is good, but does mean its easy to lose if you don't put it somewhere safe when not in use. Apart from that it's the usual top dogs gonads from Ruffwear. Reccomended.”

“I wanted a rechargable light that would attach to my dog's harness for night walking and being let off lead on my land. My pup is also the same colour as tarmac and so I wanted something which would be seen easily by cars. It seems this is one of the only led rechargable collar/harness lights on the market! Everything else is like an led collar, rather than an attachment. It is incredibly bright - which is great for spotting your dog in the distance, not so great for your night vision! The 3 colours (red, green & blue) are excellent and they each had 3 modes - on, flashing, dimmed (is the best way to describe it). I've not had to charge it yet, but it has been used for evening walks everyday for the past 2 weeks. The only small comment, which I have seen mentioned in other reviews is that the light does come off of my dog's harness when she is rough and tumble playing, so I would take it off for this, or if she is running through undergrowth.”
