Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“This is the second one we have bought of these for our Labrador. They are brilliant. Charge lasts for ages. Very useful for seeing where she is in the garden at night, or out on walks. She has one set on red one side and another set on green the other side - Christmas dog!”

“Ordered two in the space of 4 weeks. Have an active working spaniel who loves to explore and he "lost" two of these in that time. the latest today was in a city centre park. At £25 a pop inc delivery charge I am disappointed that there seems to be an issue with the catch securing it to the harness. Bought Ruffwear as I thought that it was a company that designed products for outdoor active dogs, they need to revisit that securing mechanism for this light as a matter of urgency as it is a small piece of plastic that keeps the light in place. Very poor design for what other wise is a great light.”

“The a light itself is great all round, bright and visible from a far. One major issue though is the bottom latch used to attach to a harness. I have lost one Beacon already due to it opening and falling off! This one will be attached with extra Nite Ize locking carabiner clip.”

Hi Jakub, sorry to hear this has happened. We haven't found this to be a common fault with the Beacon in our experience, I think you've been quite unlucky here! Adding a carabiner is a great way to ensure your Beacon is secure, especially with more active pups. Thanks for your feedback!

“Great bright light. Easy to recharge and lasts a while. Have had a few people ask so recommend mountain dog and the light Very useful and highly recommend. No batteries to recycle so better for the planet”

“This is really good. It does fit securely and the light is fantastic. We lost our first one following some exuberant play between our 18-month old collie and a 6-month old retriever; it came off (which may have been my fault when securing it) and I didn't notice until much later. Not to worry, this is a great product so buying again.”
