Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Measured my lurcher as per the website, was slightly apprehensive when it said medium, but it fits beautifully and has plenty of adjustment across the front which you need with a "long" dog! She is super happy in it and it gives her that extra bit of buoyancy and has made swimming much easier for her! Thanks for a great product!”

“Lightweight, easy to put on and take off, robust fastening and well made. This one hasn't yet been used for hydrotherapy fitness sessions but we are hopeful it will last as long in the chlorine as the previous version.”

“Fantastic product from ruffwear . Blodyn loves his float coat. My partner is a canoe and kayak coach and our dog has been introduced to canoeing from a puppy and uses his BA often. This is his second one since growing and we trust ruffwear wholeheartedly . Photos are of Blodyn running a canoe leader assessment .”
