Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“Bought the XL in yellow for our 2yr old neo mastiff cross. She was nervous of water and wouldn’t swim. With some gentle encouragement she is now loving swimming both with and without the float coat but the coat gives her extra confidence and keeps her from getting too tired. She swam alongside our SUPs up and down the river with us all week! Such good exercise in this hot weather too when she can’t hike with us. The yellow colour is really visible in the water and helped the other water vessels on the river spot and avoid her! She swam miles (with breaks) and it didn’t rub or impede her in any way.”

“Brilliant product. So much better than my cheap bulky one previously purchased. No nasty straps under his belly. The XS fits my mini Daxi perfectly. Much more slimline and easily adjustable.”

“XS fits my CKCS perfectly. He isn't very confident in the water, so I got this to give me piece of mind when we are out on the water. The straps are perfectly situated to so I can adjust it to really stay on and feel secure. I went for the blue colour and I love it! My main concern had been visibility in the water but the colours are so vibrant that is not a worry at all.”

“Definitely worth every Penny. Fits Timothy, my West Highland Terrier, perfectly and I know it’s sturdy and fit for purpose on large expanses of open water. I got the ‘Red Sumac’ and as he glided onto the lake during the Jubilee bank holiday, he looked just perfect and I know he’s safe. 100% recommended”

“Looks well made (stitching is very good) light weight and excellent fit. YouTube clips handy for correct fitment. I initially bought the orange XS for my border terrier very prompt delivery. Tried it on my border x poodle and immediately bought the XS red now waiting delivery. Both dogs don’t seem bothered wearing their float coat but will increase their wearing time gradually and get them used to us using the handle. Looking forward to a fun summer both in and on the water.”
