Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

Excellent product. Far superior to the usual leashes around. Safety catch is a good design feature.

Thank you for leaving us a review Sue. So glad to hear you happy with your purchase. The front range leash recently underwent a new design which incorportated the safety catch. It's great to hear some feedback in regards to that! Thank you for shopping with us here at Mountain Dog.

Simply brilliant. I have two black labs - big strong girls and so far so good. Easy to use , lightweight and great for the dark with the reflective material. Really brilliant product.

Thanks for your review Philip! I'm thrilled that the Front Range leash is holding up to the adventures of labs!

Pretty lead which matches the other front range gear. Quite long as leads go but the handle is comfy and the clasp trustworthy. The mid section of the lead is a little hard on your hands if holding when your pup pulls, but other than that we've had no issues at all.

I loved the look of this lead. It is light and of a very good length with a comfortable handle. I knocked off a star as I found the Second grab handle is slightly too low for comfort. I have a Cockerpoo so maybe this lead would work better with a taller dog. Also she is an excited chewer. Really attacking the lead when we start walking through sheer enjoyment of going for a walk. This soon calms down. However, there is bite marks already In the lead which is disappointing as I thought it would last longer. If your dog does not chew great unfortunately my puppy of 11 months still does.

Thank you for your honest review. Ruffwear do use good material but there is a limit and chewing on their webbing will of course weaken it. We found their climbing rope products like Knot-a-leash stand up to a bit more chewing but they aren't infallible Im afraid. Enjoy those walks!
