Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Great length, bright colour but it becomes twisted quite easily, this can be rectified but it is noticeable.”

“I wanted a no fuss lead that was lightweight and that’s what this is. I know some have been disappointed that there is no swivel so the lead can twist but I prefer not to have the extra weight. I can easily untwist it. Perfect for my needs!”

“This is a top quality product with a little reflective weave in the climbing rope body, which is nice at night in headlights. Its only slight drawback, surprising really from quality brand Ruffwear not to build this in, is the lack of a swivel connection between lead and collar metalwork - thus the lead 'tangles and twists' a little during walks - which is exactly why most other leads incorporate a swivel connecter element at the collar end! Otherwise this lead is top notch!”

“Good length for running. Can easily be shortened by halting it for use in areas with lots of traffic etc. Looks durable.”
