Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“It is lightweight yet strong so perfect for Warmer weather. I found the body length a smidge longer than the original which was good for my dog as she has a longer body so this length keeps it further back from the armpits. I do have to have the neck on nearly the smallest and the belly strap on almost the biggest setting so perhaps the neck to waist ratio is a little off?”

“Usual Ruffwear good quality. Sizing is good and dog accepted it without a bother. Dog is used to running free. Four point adjustment allows for a lot of dog shape within the sizing guide. Nice discount from Mountain Dog .”

“Sizing based on the chest measurement only meant our Bedlington got a harness which fit his chest but was too loose around the neck. Had to go a size down. Costly item + shipping back and forth made for an expensive harness. However, once we got the right size, the harness is actually pretty good”

Hello Sam, Sorry to hear that you had a bit of trouble with the fitting of the harness. Often we find that because there is remote measuring involved it can be a little difficult to get a good fit the first time around. Ruffwear however is a top tier brand and trusted, so rest assured the quality of the harness is high. Thank you for the review.

“Great and comfortable harness (small) for a 15kg active cockerpoo who pulls like mad to the park. Initially I was sceptical as it is very light and feels flimsy but after a couple of weeks of use, I'm happy it's a lot stronger than it feels and keeps lil'Archie nice and secure.”

“Lovely harness! Male Irish Terrier, size small, good fit. He is downgrading from a full-body escape-proof Ruffwear harness as he has grown up a bit and is less of an escape artist. As advertised, this harness is lightweight and strong. The secure pocket on the back holds a couple of poo bags and his ID tag. Great idea. True to his breed F is normally a fearless boy although, surprisingly, he is terrified by loud click fastenings and runs a mile when he sees them coming. No more, as this harness has whispering fastenings. He doesn't even know he is being dressed. Thank you Ruffwear .. keep up the good work.”

“I have a number of Ruffware harnesses and although I’ve used others to run with I wanted something that would be lighter and cooler for my dog. ( I never run with her in warm weather or full sun, living in Cumbria it’s usually rain or mist !) This harness was ideal, lightweight and should help to keep her more comfortable.”

“I love this harness. I did have the Ruffwear Front Range harness which was good, however it hurt my thumb joints as the clips are situated under the material which it awkward. This one is much lighter and easier to undo but still supportive and secure for my dog”
