Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“I thought the fit could have been slightly better round our girls chest, but overall still happy with this as a very good harness. Bought this because Ruffwear is always good quality but also for the cooling element with the summer approaching. Very much needed this as our girl Luna does struggle a fair bit with the heat. Recently used this on holiday in Holland with temperatures getting up to late 20s / early 30s and thought it held the water well and really helped keep our girl comfortable whilst it was hot out.”

“The Swamp.Cooler harness works really well. Our lurcher loves wearing it and never seems to get hot when she has it on. We reload with water regularly.”

“I purchased this for the next heatwave to stop my hairy dog from getting too hot. I haven’t used it yet but it looks very well designed and made, and is well sized according to the makers’ instructions.”

“Amazing bit of kit. I’ve always loved Ruffwear products as we spend 6 months in Greece on a yacht, so the products have to be salt resistant, uv resistant etc. the aluminium hard wear is brilliant. The only downfall is my pooch will try and lick the harness or cooler jacket when wet and ends up chewing it. Thought I’d go for the small rather than medium harness and make sure it’s well adjusted. He did still get his teeth into it, but I minor repair was made and I adjusted it again. The cooler incorporated in the harnesse was great especially when in the the vehicle driving down (we have no air con), I poured water over it and he was definitely more comfortable, I got a bit damp though . The temperature was over 30 degrees! I’m using the harness now here in Greece, for swimming and general walks, very useful the other day for hauling him out of the water when he accidentally fell in but also useful for lifting him onto the the boat out of the water after a swim. He also wears it paddle boarding!”
