Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“Complete game changer. I have a springer spaniel who pulls like a train on the lead. We have tried various collars, leads and harnesses but nothing has made a difference. With this harness and the lead attached to the front clip, she walks beautifully (well, doesn’t pull my arm off anyway). On lead walks are now a much more enjoyable experience. I have a very small springer (13kg) and the medium harness just fits on the very smallest setting.”

“My dog had a Julius harness but she was running away everytime I wanted to put it on her. She's behaving much better with ruffwear harness. Really happy with the design and color”

“Fits well and stays in place when she tries to pull. I recommend as a two point harness with an anti pull lead. It looks nice too.”

“I bought 2 ruffwear harnesses for 2 different dogs. Both harnesses fit very well and are obviously so totally not an issue for the dogs who are both fit & active, up fakes and down, in water and under dense cover too at times. The harnesses wash well - a great bonus when the lab rolls in yet another undesirable rotting carcass. Urrgh!! The terrier was very wary of his last harness. He plunges his head into the front of his ruffwear one. He can’t wait to get it on.”

“I bought this harness to help me with my rescue cocker spaniel who pulls strongly on the lead. The harness is comfortable and easy to fit, and appears very well made. It has made such a difference and his pulling is now much more manageable.”
