Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“My Caverpoochon is 23 months old and I've tried 2/3 harnesses that were recommended to me but haven't been pleased with any of them. I starting looking myself before Christmas and kept going back to Front Range. Me being me I looked for the most reasonable price and Mountain Dog were by far the best price. I received the harness within a few days of ordering. WOW what a great harness.... even Bobby loves having it put on as it is so simple and easy.”

“Great harness, this is our second one now but they last for years and years. we lost our labrador recently so thought we'd treat our JRT to an upgrade. so now he has his old one for muddy days and swimming and his fancy new red one for drier, posher events. They are a bit pricey but so robust and long lasting.”

“Love this harness as it leads from the front. Been using a Ruffwear harness for 3 years, still in very good condition. I bought this one so that I didn’t have to get the one I had washed and dried (after rolling in the mud!) before the next walk.”

“This is Ada's 3rd ruffwear harness and they have all proved themselves to be hard-wearing, the new 2020 model appears to be of a similar high quality construction with the addition of a loop to attach the new ruffwear light (not yet purchased!) The four adjustment points are ideal to ensure a proper fit to Ada's unique pointer shape.”

“The harness is excellent. The fit is vey good, adjusting the harness is very good with plenty room for expansion. Handy pocket for dog tags, although I tend to keep his collar on so I have not used the pocket to store his tags. Good control of the dog on lead. I would recommend this item.”

“Great harness, tough and strong. My Shar pei is a puller and it holds him well although the neck adjustment does lose on long walks.”
